As the title suggests, Team Yokomo members Masami Hirosaka, Takashi Kato, and Daisuke Yoshioka participated in the race. With the addition of former professional baseball player Masahiro Yamamoto, everyone enjoyed an exciting and fun-filled day with over 60 participants.
Furthermore, the "Store Manager Sobue Challenge" class, established with the goal of "allowing more people to enjoy circuit driving with ease," featured a mixed field of various machines including off-road, short course trucks, minis, and F1s, making for a unique and lively race that was very well received.
【Race Report】
In the 17.5T Sports Class, where the three Team Yokomo drivers competed, Hirosaka and Kato secured 1st and 2nd in qualifying, while Mio Hakamada, using a Yokomo Racing Performer power source, qualified 3rd, and Yoshioka took 4th. In the final, Hirosaka and Kato engaged in an intense battle for the lead, with Hirosaka ultimately pulling ahead to finish first. Yoshioka moved up to second, and Hakamada took third, giving the Yokomo BD-8 2018 a 1-2 finish and sweeping the podium with Racing Performer motors and ESCs. Additionally, Kazumasa Kato and Shinji Omi, both using the BD-8 2018, finished 8th and 9th, respectively, meaning five Yokomo cars made it into the A-main final.
Team Yokomo aims to provide appropriate, personalized information to all users—especially those planning to compete in the "JMRCA All Japan Championship Sports Class" being held at this same circuit this August—to ensure they can participate in the best possible conditions. This effort will be led by Kazuma Morita, a staff member at RC Tengoku Nagoya, and local Nagoya resident Takashi Kato from BOMBER. Please feel free to reach out to them.
