The Drift Meeting Special Round 2019 is almost upon us. We would like to announce the judging criteria. The Drift Grand Prix course at Yatabe Arena has already been changed to this layout and is available for practice, but please consider the following judging criteria as a reference only, as detailed judging information will be provided by the judges on the day of the event.
Judging Criteria
Passing through the clip points is a prerequisite for judging.
We will judge based on a combination of factors, including drift line and angle within the judging area, speed of initiation, drift distance, and vehicle speed.
Consistency will also be evaluated.
For example, if multiple drivers achieve the same high score, the one with greater consistency will be ranked higher.
The AWD Special Class, RWD Expert Class, and RWD Masters Class will be judged using the (Yokomo Drift Scoring System).
Details regarding the judging will be explained by the judges on the day of the event.
