We held "D&D Night," a collaborative event featuring drift RC cars and FPV drones, at Tsukuba RC Park. It may well have been the world's first event of its kind, and participants enjoyed an atmosphere quite different from the usual.

Despite taking place after regular hours from 8 PM to 11 PM, we had a fantastic turnout of 25 participants. We installed futuristic LED lights on the drift course and dimmed the main lights to create an otherworldly space. Perhaps in celebration of the event, some participants even brought drift machines with neon-glowing bodies, perfectly capturing the atmosphere.
The drones used were the FPV (First-Person View) type, where pilots fly while watching video from a camera mounted on the aircraft. Participants flew through gates set up on the off-road course and even enjoyed capturing aerial footage of the drift cars. Many of the drones were also equipped with LEDs, making for a truly cyber-themed collaboration.

On the Rookie Course, we held an exhibition and trial session for FPV RC cars developed by SDK (Spicy Drone Kitchen). This system allows you to enjoy driving from a cockpit-style perspective by watching the feed from a camera mounted on the RC car on a monitor, offering the fresh experience of feeling as if you are actually inside the car.
Although it was a late-night event, we received a lot of positive feedback from participants, and we are planning to host another event in the future, including the FPV RC cars. Stay tuned!
