As temperatures rose on the day, the track conditions were unstable with significant changes in grip, but the event was lively and friendly. Thirteen participants joined this qualifying round for the YOKOMO 2WD Touring Car All-Japan Championship Scale Class, which features the popular YD-2TC known for its moderate speed and fresh driving characteristics. The regulations for the YD-2TC Scale Class allow for scale bodies from other manufacturers (excluding Raijiri GT, etc.), limit tire rotation to 2,900 rpm or less (at 7.2V stabilized), and incorporate a handicap system (new participants receive favorable rules).
