On Sunday, August 18th, we held the "YD-2TC Scale Class" race, which serves as a regional qualifier for the YOKOMO 2WD Touring Car All-Japan Championship using the YD-2TC, popular for its moderate speed and fresh handling characteristics. We had 14 participants, including some from outside the prefecture.
The regulations allow for YD-2TC bodies as well as scale bodies from other manufacturers (with the exception of models like the Raikiri GT), and tire rotation is limited to 2900rpm or less (at a stable 7.2v). The race uses a handicap system (providing an advantage to new participants).
