On November 16th, we held the inaugural Yatabe Arena RC Academy Drift Class. As the announcement was made on short notice, we had only two participants instead of the five-person capacity, but that allowed us to provide an intensive, one-on-one training session.
This time, we were joined by Mr. K and his son. Since the father supports his son, we focused on machine assembly for him, while the son, who already has some experience with drift RCs, wanted to learn the know-how for driving on P-tile surfaces, so we covered machine setup and driving methods tailored to that environment.

Before participating, I thought the training would be much more casual, but I was surprised at how in-depth the content actually was. I thought I had built my machine properly by following the instruction manual, but I learned that there is so much more technique to building than I had imagined, which was incredibly helpful. Regarding setup and driving techniques, I didn't have anyone around to teach me, so my information was quite biased. Having the opportunity to receive full support throughout the session helped me rediscover the fun of RC cars. Honestly, I'm just so impressed. I think many people might give up halfway if they have no guidance, but if a place like this offers training from the basics, I think it would really help convey just how enjoyable RC cars are. |
