In 2026, a year with many relatively pleasant days despite being the height of summer, we held Drift Singles Round-27 at the Tsukuba RC Park Drift Grand Prix course under appropriately? summery conditions.
We were fully booked with approximately 140 participants. While we were concerned about the number of entries due to the event falling during the Obon holiday period, we were able to host a lively event with many first-time participants.
Although the course layout featured slightly lower speeds, the long judging sections allowed no room for error, leading to fierce competition. The tandem battles, especially in the Masters and D1 classes, featured compelling maneuvers through the medium-speed corners, with many edge-of-your-seat moments featuring razor-thin margins. There were also many sudden-death battles that drained the competitors' mental strength, making for an event that offered high satisfaction for the spectators as well.

The next event will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
