In the final, Hirosaka and Takuma Sasaki pulled away from the pack, maintaining a gap of about one second throughout the 5-minute race, with Hirosaka managing to hold onto the lead until the end. Naoya Morita took third place, marking a promising start to the new year for Team Yokomo.
Comment from Masami Hirosaka: I drove the BD9 in an almost standard configuration and made hardly any setup changes, but its stability was outstanding. From practice through the end of the final, I was able to finish almost without any crashes, and I was very satisfied with its high level of perfection. The BD9 is a car that I feel has even more potential to go faster.
