On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Yokomo Off-Road Challenge Cup was held at Bamboo Off-Road Circuit.
As one of the largest and most historic off-road tracks in the Kanto region, Bamboo Circuit is packed with the thrills of dirt off-road racing, featuring impressive big jumps, combination jumps, and undulating sections. The event featured four classes: 2WD Stock 17.5T, 4WD Stock 13.5T, the Yokomo RO 1.0 class, and the newly added Yokomo 17.5T class. With monthly regular races held here, many drivers are highly experienced, leading to fierce, high-level competition across every class.

In the 4WD Stock class, Iyo secured TQ and the win after fending off a strong push from Suzuki, who had climbed to second place. In the 2WD Stock class, Nishikawa overtook Konno during their battle and held onto the lead to take the victory.

In the Yokomo RO class, pole-sitter Sanada led the race, but Arae increased his lap pace to pass Sanada for a come-from-behind victory. In the Yokomo 17.5T class, Konno, who had an excellent start, faltered early on, allowing Tateyama to take the lead and hold off a fierce chase to finish first.

Bamboo Circuit boasts the largest dirt track for electric R/C cars in Japan. It is an exciting off-road course, so we encourage everyone to come and take on the challenge.
