The course layout required transitioning from a drift at the exit of one corner into an approach line for the next at an angle that maintains momentum, gaining grip to build speed, then entering a chicane with a shallow drift before initiating a quick snap-back maneuver.
The chicane, which demanded a particularly high entry speed, was a high-difficulty section where even the slightest mistake could lead to contact with the trackside barriers and an immediate risk of retirement. However, many participants seemed to have mastered it by the start of the qualifying rounds, demonstrating the high caliber of the competing drivers.
The classes held for Round-101 were: Sports, RWD Expert, AWD D1, and AWD Expert.
■ Sports Class
In the Sports Class, Ashizawa dominated the field from the qualifying rounds, continuing that momentum to secure a well-deserved victory in the final. Riipon took 2nd place, and Kuuga finished in 3rd.
■ AWD Expert Class
In the AWD Expert Class, KOIZUMI controlled both the qualifying and final rounds with consistent driving. Miya took 2nd place, and GEN took 3rd. With this victory, KOIZUMI was officially promoted to the D1 class.
■ RWD Expert Class
In the highly anticipated RWD Expert Class, Yusuke caught everyone's eye from the qualifying rounds. Displaying overwhelming drift angles and entry speeds, he racked up high scores with flawless, high-quality runs, topping the RWD qualifying leaderboard with 97 points. Following him were Takeyan in 2nd place with 95 points, with Shiroi, Shunsuke, and Hikari trailing behind.
The final tournament featured intense tandem battles in every group, but the championship showdown came down to a fierce duel between Shiroi and Shunsuke. After Shunsuke gained a 0.5-point advantage in the first run, the outcome hinged on the second run, with Shiroi in the chase position. As Shiroi closed in right behind Shunsuke at the chicane entrance, he clipped the trackside barrier, causing his body shell to come off and resulting in a heartbreaking retirement. In that moment, Shunsuke’s victory was secured.
■ AWD D1 Class
The AWD D1 Class was a high-level battle where half the field consisted of world-class drivers. In qualifying, Hikari broke away from the pack with exceptional sharpness and car speed, racking up a high score of 97.5. However, even Hikari was eventually defeated after a fierce battle by Shunsuke, who was riding the momentum of his RWD Expert Class victory. The final was a showdown between Yusuke and Shunsuke. It was a well-matched contest, but in the end, Yusuke took the win by displaying overwhelming proximity in his driving.
