On Sunday, October 20, 2024, we held the Yokomo Drift Single Round-16 at the Drift Grand Prix course at Tsukuba RC Park. The summer heat has finally subsided, but the action on the track remained intense as fierce battles unfolded in every class.
The key area was the section where drivers dive in front of the judging stand from the outer loop, almost like a lane change. Drivers were required to maintain high speeds and deep angles while ensuring a clean pass through the DJS (Drift Judge System). As the classes progressed, the speed range increased, and in the D1 class, drivers delivered spectacular runs that drew gasps of admiration from the spectators, resulting in numerous high scores.
