We held the Yokomo Drift Single Round 3 on the drift Grand Prix course at the Tsukuba RC Arena, which has recently renewed its center arena interior. The event was grandly hosted as the first one since the renovation, featuring a chic atmosphere with walls and interiors unified in dark gray. We welcomed D1 driver Takahiro Ueno as a guest and judge, and Makoto Kosaka as the main MC.
The layout featured a section that accelerated from the infield's right corner onto the straight, diving toward the judging stand. Although the slightly short straight required high traction to draw out sufficient acceleration, the course proved more difficult than it appeared, as it comprehensively judged elements such as early initiation and drift angles along the right outer perimeter following the outline.
