On November 13, 2022, we held the Drift Single Round-4 and DRIFT DANCE 6th concurrently at Tsukuba RC Park. While the course layout itself was the same as recent ones, we set the judging area for reverse-direction running for this event.
The event was held in a lively atmosphere with Makoto Kosaka as MC and Yoichi Imamura as a guest judge. Mr. Imamura also helped judge the Drift Dance competition, and he adapted to the simple judging method right away.
For this event, we specially implemented a system where the top three finishers in the Expert Class were included in the D1 Class final tournament. Of course, there was a possibility of a double victory if an Expert Class driver advanced, and in an incredible turn of events, Expert Class winner Rikiishi-senshu moved smoothly through the D1 tournament as well! He faced the previous champion, Yokkun-senshu, in the final, but Rikiishi-senshu won decisively, making for a rare double-class victory!

In Drift Dance, the consistently successful ROTANG KLAN delivered an overwhelming performance. Even though the layout was relatively easy for group driving, they thrilled the crowd with their perfectly synchronized run. Their team drift, which was so artistic it even surprised judge Mr. Imamura, earned them their fourth consecutive victory.
