The Yokomo Grand Prix Round 47 was held at the speed course of the relocated Tsukuba RC Arena. Although held in conjunction with an Arena Round, the event drew a great turnout of touring car and direct-drive car enthusiasts.

We held the debut display of the new GT car currently under development by Yokomo trackside. With the launch scheduled for the end of August, we were able to exhibit a machine that is almost identical to the final production model, and we received many questions not only about the product's specifications but also about event hosting methods and regulations.
At this stage, we are planning a one-make race using this machine, which will feature regulations including the use of our newly released 30.5T brushless motor. Since the motor has a fixed timing, we will not be setting any RPM limits, and we expect the racing to take place at a relatively controllable speed range. We will be releasing more details soon, so please look forward to it.

In the Yokomo Grand Prix Light Touring class, Kazu Racing demonstrated overwhelming speed from the qualifying rounds and secured victory with a consistent performance in the final.
