We are finally holding the Challenge YDS at Yatabe Arena. ■■■ What is Challenge YDS? ■■■

This is a new event packed with various activities using the YDS (Yokomo Drift Scoring system), an automated judging system developed by Yokomo, to help users become more familiar with it.

■■■ 4 Available Classes ■■■

  • Beginner Class: Judged using only YDS Sector 1
  • Expert Class: Judged using YDS Sectors 1 and 2
  • SPEED MASTER Class: Ranking determined solely by speed in YDS Sector 1
  • ANGLE MASTER Class: Ranking determined solely by angle in YDS Sector 1

Please note that double entry in SPEED and ANGLE classes is not permitted.

■■■ Judging Criteria ■■■

  • Beginner Class
    Qualifier: 2 consecutive runs; finalists selected based on a total of 100 points (95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges).
    Finals: 2 consecutive runs; final rankings determined based on a total of 100 points (95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges).
  • Expert Class

Qualifier: 2 consecutive runs; finalists selected based on a total of 100 points (95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges).
Finals: 16-person tournament format; each driver performs one solo run, and the higher score wins.

  • SPEED / ANGLE MASTER Class

Drivers perform two consecutive runs, and the higher speed/angle value is taken as their score. Racing line is optional; however, scores are void in the event of a crash or course-out.
