This is a new event packed with various activities using the YDS (Yokomo Drift Scoring system), developed by Yokomo, to help users become more familiar with the mechanical judging system.
■■■ 4 Available Classes ■■■
● Beginner Class: Judged using only YDS Sector 1
● Expert Class: Judged using YDS Sectors 1 and 2
● SPEED MASTER Class: Rankings are determined solely by speed in YDS Sector 1
● ANGLE MASTER Class: Rankings are determined solely by angle in YDS Sector 1
Note: Double entry for SPEED and ANGLE classes is not permitted.
■■■ Judging Details ■■■
● Beginner Class
Qualifying: 2 consecutive runs, 95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges = 100 points maximum to select finalists
Finals: 2 consecutive runs, 95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges = 100 points maximum to determine final rankings
● Expert Class
Qualifying: 2 consecutive runs, 95 points from YDS + 5 points from judges = 100 points maximum to select finalists
Finals: 16-person tournament format; each driver performs one solo run, and the higher score wins
● SPEED / ANGLE MASTER Class
Perform 2 consecutive runs and the highest speed/angle score will be used. Driving lines are free, but points will be invalidated in the event of a crash or going off-course.
