The YD-2, which created a new trend in RWD drifting and has become the standard RWD machine, has been refined into the cutting-edge E-series, drawing from the lineage of the world-renowned YD-2EX!

Equipped with new steering blocks and new suspension arms as standard, it offers even greater steering angles and improved compatibility with wide treads. The steering stopper positions have also been revised, achieving practical alignment and Ackermann ratios in the kit-standard configuration. In the rear, the design leverages the YD-2 series' hallmark rear traction, deliberately reducing rear toe-in to maintain deep drift angles while balancing traction to effectively translate throttle input into acceleration at corner exits. It also comes standard with LS rear lower suspension arms that increase down-stroke to enhance rear grip, providing both stability and speed.

Main Features

The front suspension arms are a newly designed short type. The steering stopper positions have also been refined to achieve an overwhelming steering angle.

The kit is set with a wide front tread as standard, achieving practical alignment and Ackermann ratios.

The YD-2 E-series is compatible with all common R/C car batteries. You can use standard size Li-po batteries, as well as 6-cell batteries such as Ni-Cd or Ni-MH.

The 4-gear transmission features a design that is innovative for a drift car. By mounting the motor transversely, it prevents balance issues caused by the motor's counter-torque, drawing out neutral steering characteristics. Since rear traction increases under throttle, it provides excellent stability and acceleration when exiting corners. The sealed gearbox also offers high dust resistance.

LS suspension arms, which make it easy to ensure adequate stroke, are equipped as standard for the rear.

Resin oil shocks with smooth operation enable driving with a high sense of road contact. As they are height-adjustable, you can change the ride height simply by rotating the spring tensioner, and they are compatible with springs of various lengths. Naturally, by adjusting the damping force through changes in shock oil or pistons, you can obtain the optimal settings to suit various road surfaces and driving conditions.

By leveraging the high level of rear grip, the rear toe-in is intentionally reduced to achieve a balance between smooth turning performance and acceleration.
