The drift servo program card, which further enhances the functionality of drift-specific servos—now considered essential for competitive RWD drift cars due to their integrated steering hunting suppression—has finally arrived!
This card allows for the adjustment of power, torque, hunting suppression, and neutral deadband values, while also enabling a servo reverse function. While models like the SP-03D and SP-02DV2 offer sufficient performance by default, this card allows for detailed settings to meet the demands of expert drivers seeking even more refined operation.
For instance, if a driver wants to improve steering feel, or if the machine balance is good and hunting suppression does not need to be increased, they can raise the power and torque for a more direct response. Conversely, in demanding situations like tandem drifting (such as when wanting to increase gyro gain), the power and torque can be lowered while increasing the hunting suppression, making it easy to tune steering characteristics to suit the situation.
The unit is equipped with a servo connection port and a power port. For power, you can use the BEC power from an ESC or receiver, or connect via a micro-USB connector to a PC or mobile battery. A connector cord for BEC power supply is included.
*Note: Connecting both the BEC power and the micro-USB power simultaneously will damage the ESC’s BEC circuit or the program card’s circuit. Never connect both power sources at the same time.
