　The YZ-2 CA L2 was born after ace driver Lee Martin fine-tuned the World Championship-winning YZ-2 DTM car—used by Team Yokomo to secure victory in the off-road world championship that captures the attention of enthusiasts worldwide—specifically for high-grip surfaces. 　Featuring newly designed front and rear lower suspension arms and an aluminum steering bellcrank with a new high-grip steering center link, the car achieves more linear and sharp handling. To suppress traction rolling (high-siding) caused by high cornering speeds on high-grip surfaces while maintaining the traction needed to propel the machine forward, the rear lower suspension arms and gearbox support have been reshaped to optimize chassis roll rigidity, and a high-capacity gear differential case has been adopted. 　With the adoption of a 3G motor mount that allows for motor position adjustment, and the ability to quickly adjust the camber link position and rear axle height by changing the mount bushings at the rear suspension arm attachment points, setup time tailored to track conditions is reduced. The front section features newly designed gull-wing lower suspension arms and an aluminum steering bellcrank equipped with a new aluminum center link designed exclusively for high-grip surfaces.

Newly designed large-diameter rod ends and rod end balls are used to provide responsive steering performance and the ability to reliably trace the fastest line on high-grip surfaces.

The newly designed S4 rear lower suspension arms suppress high-siding during cornering on high-grip surfaces while accurately transmitting power to the track. By swapping out the mount bushings, camber and height settings can be easily changed, providing a powerful advantage in tight race schedules.

For precise rear traction control during cornering, the CA L2 adopts a high-capacity gear differential case.

The shape of the gearbox support, which reinforces the low-center-of-gravity gearbox, has also been newly designed, not only increasing traction performance but also improving cornering performance.
