　Off-road specialist Ryan Maifield, the newest member of Team Yokomo, has already modified the YZ-2 DT! Based on the 3-gear laydown transmission (ball differential spec) that has become the standard for dirt surfaces, the machine has been reborn with a revised rigidity balance for stable cornering and increased cornering speed by utilizing rear traction. It also includes the JConcepts S2 body used by Maifield.

　The front suspension arms utilize a straight-type design, resulting in easy-to-handle characteristics. The ball ends are also of a new design for improved reliability. They are less likely to pop off during a crash, allowing you to attack corners with confidence.

　By using resin for the steering bellcranks and center link, excessive response is suppressed, creating a machine that is easy to drive. This ensures high stability even on tricky surfaces that have small bumps but high grip.

　Newly designed front hub carriers. The installation space for the steering block has been expanded, and the axle position can be moved up or down by adjusting the upper and lower spacers. With a maximum movement range of 2.5mm, it is possible to adapt to an even wider range of track conditions.

　Comes standard with a low-center-of-gravity laydown 3-gear transmission that delivers overwhelming performance on high-grip surfaces. It features minimal friction loss and responsive acceleration to drive the machine forward. 　For running on dirt surfaces with lower grip, an optional stand-up 3-gear conversion kit is also available.

　Downforce and inputs from the shock tower, which were previously transmitted through the gearbox, are now transferred directly onto the rear suspension mount by using a dedicated rear shock tower brace. In addition to further increasing rear traction, the change in how the joint with the gearbox is handled improves the suppleness of the rear end, suppressing any catching during cornering.

　The newly designed rear hub carriers feature bush-type inserts for the lower suspension pin. The position of the suspension pin can be adjusted in 0.5mm increments up to a maximum of 3mm, making it possible to set the roll center to match road conditions. In addition, the upper arm pivot is a separate aluminum part, allowing you to choose the length of the upper arm depending on the orientation in which it is installed.
