B-YZ4

　The legendary "YZ" returns after 20 years. Team Yokomo set out to develop a machine that resolves the common weak points of many competitive off-road cars, aiming for a vehicle with well-balanced handling, excellent dust resistance, and ease of maintenance. The answer arrived at by Yokomo development engineer Yasunobu Hosoda and advisor Shinnosuke Adachi was an innovative design featuring front and rear 3-gear transmissions and a 2-belt drive system. At the recent IFMAR World Championships held at Yatabe Arena, Team Yokomo used the YZ-4 prototype. Despite the short development period and extremely limited setup data, two cars advanced to the A-Main, and an impressive seven cars reached the top 16! The YZ-4 has proven itself to be a new breed of 4WD car that combines world-class performance with a forgiving and easy-to-drive nature.
