The YZ-4SF, acclaimed by many users for its high driving performance, has evolved even further! By significantly lightening the bulkheads, motor mount, slipper clutch, and more, its athletic performance has been dramatically increased. The base ability has been improved by refining areas that cannot be reached through setup or driving alone, and the steering ratio has been adjusted accordingly to enhance controllability.

●NEW! Aluminum lightweight front/rear bulkheads ●NEW! Aluminum lightweight motor mount ●NEW! Lightweight slipper unit ●NEW! Steering system ●NEW! Front/rear suspension arms ●High-durability Φ3.5mm inner suspension pins adopted ●Bushing-style upper arm pivot (inner) ●Adjustable battery position ●Rear hubs with bushing inserts for roll center adjustment ●Includes springs and stabilizers for both dirt and carpet

Durability has been significantly increased by strengthening the front and rear inner suspension arm pins to Φ3.5mm and the rear outer suspension arm pins to Φ3.0mm. The suspension arms themselves have also been improved in rigidity through a review of materials and shape changes, resulting in better tracking precision and response at high-speed ranges.

While the overall weight reduction improves response, the Ackerman ratio has been set to be milder to enhance controllability on high-grip surfaces and during high-speed driving. It provides a sense of stability, especially on carpets and artificial turf, resulting in handling that gives the driver more confidence.

The significantly downsized slipper clutch delivers overwhelming throttle response due to its lightweight design. Since it is the same size as the optional center gear differential, it can be swapped immediately without changing the front and rear center bones. Furthermore, the motor mount has also been newly designed to be lightweight, contributing to the weight reduction of the entire chassis.

The battery and motor mount have two mounting positions—front and rear—allowing the weight balance to be adjusted by moving them.

The rear hubs use a design where the suspension pin passes through a bushing insert. The roll center can be changed by selecting different bushings, allowing for the adjustment of the traction balance. The lower shock mount also uses a shock mount plate, allowing for precise adjustments to the lever ratio.

Equipped with a height-adjustable cam that can change the height of the differential, the axle position can be moved between 0 and 3mm to adjust rear traction. It is designed to maintain maximum drive efficiency at any height, taking into account the orientation of the input shaft.

A cam-style rod end ball collar is installed on the inner pivot of the upper arm, allowing for fine adjustments to the upper arm height. Rather than making large height changes via hole positions as in the past, this design allows for adjustments within a practical range for setups.

By inserting resin spacers under the front and rear bulkheads, the flexibility of the main chassis is brought out. Incorporating subtle softness within the high-rigidity feel increases ground contact, leading to improved traction.

By reducing the front and rear shock shafts to 3.0mm, a lighter operation is achieved. This increases trackability on the road surface, improving both ground contact and driving performance.
