This is a 3D-printed bumper designed to fit the BD12/11 series of competition touring cars. Its 3D-designed honeycomb structure keeps it lightweight while maintaining minimal mass. Made from a flexible yet appropriately strong material, it also helps mitigate body deformation caused by air resistance.
It offers significant functional advantages over the standard urethane bumper; by channeling the air flowing under the chassis during a run into the body from the underside of the bumper, it reduces chassis lift and improves road contact. This leads to better steering tracing in high-speed corners and a greater sense of stability.
