This is an LC (Laydown/Carpet) gearbox for the YZ-2 series, designed for carpet surfaces. By lowering the overall center of gravity and mounting the motor further forward, it delivers high performance on high-grip surfaces. It helps prevent traction rolls while providing quick steering response. Additionally, the differential is held by height adapters on both sides, allowing for adjustment of the differential height. The gearbox features a three-piece construction, making it easier to access the differential than before and significantly improving maintainability.
This can be installed directly onto the YZ-2T racing truck, and can be converted for use on other YZ-2 series models by using the parts listed below.
