The YZ-870C comes standard with the 1.9-inch tires and wheels used in the 80s, but new wheels are being released to allow the use of current 2.2-inch size tires.
By increasing the wheel's outer diameter while retaining the YZ-870C's characteristic wheel hubs, you can now use the 2.2-inch tires that are widely available today. This greatly expands your tire options for both dirt and carpet surfaces, allowing you to enjoy driving with improved grip.
Since the tire outer diameter will often be larger as well, please pay attention to the gear ratio, such as by using a smaller pinion gear. Additionally, the wheels do not have air holes, so please drill them as needed using a drill, tapered reamer, or similar tool.
