　The YD-2, which created a new trend in RWD drifting and has become the standard RWD machine, has been refined into the cutting-edge E-series, following in the footsteps of the globally successful YD-2EX!

　Equipped with new steering blocks and new suspension arms as standard, it offers further improved steering angle and support for a wider tread. The positioning of the steering stopper has also been reviewed, achieving realistic alignment and Ackermann ratios in the kit-standard state. In the rear, it leverages the rear traction that characterizes the YD-2 series; by intentionally reducing rear toe-in, it maintains a deep drift angle while providing a traction balance that effectively translates throttle input into acceleration at corner exits. It also comes standard with LS rear lower suspension arms that increase downstroke for improved rear grip, combining stability with speed.

Key Features

The front suspension arms are a newly designed short type. The position of the steering stopper has been refined to achieve an overwhelming steering angle.

The kit comes with a wide front tread setting as standard, achieving realistic alignment and Ackermann ratios.

The YD-2 E-series supports all common R/C car batteries. You can install standard-size Li-po batteries, as well as 6-cell Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries.

The 4-gear transmission features a design that is innovative for a drift car. By mounting the motor transversely, it prevents the loss of left-right balance caused by motor counter-torque, bringing out neutral steering characteristics. On the other hand, rear traction increases when the throttle is applied, allowing for stability and acceleration when exiting corners. The sealed gearbox is also highly dust-resistant.

The LS suspension arms, which make it easy to ensure suspension stroke, are standard equipment in the rear.

Resin oil shocks with smooth operation allow for driving with a great sense of grip. They are adjustable in height, so you can change the vehicle height simply by rotating the spring tensioner, and they support springs of various lengths. Of course, by fine-tuning the damping force through changes in shock oil or pistons, you can obtain the optimal setup for various road surfaces and driving conditions.

Using high rear grip as a weapon, the rear toe-in is intentionally reduced to achieve both smooth cornering and acceleration performance.

The included gyro is the YG-302, which boasts performance acclaimed by expert drivers. While reacting firmly to the machine's slide, it suppresses excessive steering movement to achieve natural, real-car-like counter-steer. If using a transmitter and receiver capable of 3-channel adjustment, it is possible to adjust the gain (gyro sensitivity) from the transmitter side.
