　The YD-2, synonymous with RWD drift cars, has undergone a major evolution! This brand-new machine, bearing the name "Z" to signify its ultimate form, features a streamlined main chassis and a new 3-piece transmission case, launching as the new standard machine!

　The front end adopts a new integrated bulkhead, balancing the steering for improved handling. Including a new upper deck, the kit supports a slide rack as standard, allowing you to achieve steering characteristics tailored to various conditions with minimal changes.

　The 3-gear transmission case has also been newly designed; by splitting it into three pieces, maintenance has been significantly improved. You can access the differential simply by removing the rear cap, making it easy to handle even ball differentials that require frequent maintenance. Additionally, the motor mount can be rotated to select from 13 different motor positions, making it easy to achieve a center of gravity balance suited to the track surface, from low-mount to high-mount. The 3-gear system provides exceptional throttle response, and combined with the rear traction produced by the supple main chassis, it delivers even higher competitive performance than you might imagine!

Key Features

The suspension area inherits existing parts, so optional parts can continue to be used.

The new front bulkhead is a one-piece molded resin unit. It is about half the weight of an aluminum version, allowing for significant weight reduction in the front area.

The upper deck supports a slide-rack and inverted servo mount as standard. A resin rear servo mount is also included.

You can choose from 13 different motor positions pivoting around the top shaft, ranging from low-mount to high-mount. (Gear ratio limitations apply when in the low-mount position.)

The rear brace can be reversed depending on the motor position. This allows for flexibility in the electronics layout and changes to pitching rigidity.

By using two types of battery holders, everything from short-size Li-po to standard-size batteries can be installed.

Height-adjustable oil shocks are standard equipment. Combined with all-around type springs, they securely grip the road surface.

A responsive 3-gear transmission. The gear case is sealed, allowing for operation even in locations with lots of sand and dust, such as parking lots.

The 3-piece gear case significantly improves maintainability. You can easily access the differential by removing the rear cap.

The slimmed-down main chassis balances rigidity and has been optimized for RWD drifting.
