　The YD-2, synonymous with RWD drift cars, has undergone a major evolution! This brand-new machine, bearing the name "Z"—which could be called its final form—features a streamlined main chassis and a new 3-piece transmission case, launching as the new standard machine!

　Furthermore, this model comes standard with a high-performance steering gyro, an essential item for RWD drifting, making it the perfect package for those attempting drift R/C for the first time.

　The front end adopts a new integrated bulkhead, balancing left and right steering for improved operability. Including the new upper deck, the kit also supports a slide rack as standard, allowing for steering characteristics tailored to various conditions with minimal changes.

　The 3-gear transmission case has also been newly designed, and its 3-piece construction significantly improves maintainability. You can access the differential simply by removing the rear cap, making it easy to handle even ball differentials, which require frequent maintenance. Additionally, you can choose from 13 motor positions by rotating the motor mount, making it easier to achieve a center of gravity balance matched to the road surface, from low-mount to high-mount. With its excellent throttle response from the 3-gear setup, combined with the rear traction produced by the supple main chassis, it demonstrates fighting power beyond your imagination!

Key Features

The suspension components inherit parts from previous models, so option parts can continue to be used.

The new front bulkhead is a one-piece resin molding. Compared to the aluminum version, the weight is reduced by about half, allowing for a significant weight reduction in the front end.

The upper deck supports the mounting of a slide rack and inverted servo as standard. A resin rear servo mount is also included.

A high-performance steering gyro that supports drift counter-steering is included, making this kit perfect for those trying drift R/C for the first time.

You can choose from 13 motor positions, pivoting around the top shaft, from low-mount to high-mount. (Gear ratio restrictions apply when in the low-mount position.)

The rear brace can be mounted in reverse depending on the motor position. This allows for flexibility in the layout of electronics and adjustments to pitching rigidity.

By using two types of battery holders, you can mount anything from short-sized Li-po batteries to standard-sized batteries.

Equipped with height-adjustable oil shocks as standard. Combined with all-round springs, they securely grip the road surface.
