Based on the YD-2Z chassis, this machine is equipped with an S-series gearbox featuring a 4-gear transmission that utilizes the motor's rotation in the anti-torque direction.

While the previous 3-gear transmission offered major benefits such as enhanced front-end feel and acceleration response, we have received many requests for the 4-gear transmission, which has been popular for some time. Especially in low-grip conditions, the "motor anti-torque," which exerts force to push the rear end down during acceleration, will be a significant advantage even for drivers accustomed to the 4-gear setup.

In the YD-2ZS, the gear case installation is achieved through a newly designed upper deck adapter. Since the base chassis is the YD-2Z, it is also a great feature that it can accommodate standard-size batteries such as straight packs. Naturally, the details have also been upgraded to the latest specifications, including Φ4.8mm pillow balls and drift-specific springs.

The YD-2 series is characterized by its overwhelming steering angle. It maintains high controllability even at deep drift angles, realizing dynamic drift driving.

By using a 4-gear transmission, the anti-torque force generated by the motor during acceleration acts to push the rear end down, increasing rear tire traction. This makes it easier to obtain acceleration traction and increases stability when exiting corners.

Standard-size batteries, which could not be used with the conventional S-series, can now be installed. It supports various batteries by changing the holders.

A large urethane bumper cushions the impact of crashes and prevents damage to chassis parts.

The suspension features a wide range of settings, allowing for free adjustment of vehicle width, camber angle, toe angle, and more.

The upper deck also supports inverted steering servo mounting, making it easier to install the slide rack steering system.

By changing the mounting position of the motor mount plate, the motor can be selected from three front-to-rear positions. This allows for fine-tuning of weight balance, enabling the acquisition of the optimal balance for the road surface being driven on.

High-precision resin oil shocks come as standard equipment. They also feature ride height adjustment, allowing for adaptation to various situations when combined with separately sold springs and shock oils.

The rear hub carrier supports high-mount upper arms. It offers a wide range of roll center settings, allowing for flexible adjustment of rear grip feel.
