　The top-tier RWD drift car has finally arrived! Introducing the YD-2ZX, the flagship model that stands at the pinnacle of the YD-2 series. 　It features a graphite double-deck chassis based on a supple, high-traction main chassis. By changing the steering servo mounting method to the chassis and utilizing a flexible upper deck design, we have achieved a smooth steering feel without hindering the flex of the main chassis. 　Equipped with a Z-spec gearbox and a highly heat-dissipating special motor mount, the motor is set in a high-mount position. This allows the battery to be relocated to the rearmost position, bringing heavy components closer to the rear axle to increase traction without compromising performance. The machine is luxuriously outfitted with aluminum parts such as the front bulkhead, suspension mounts, shock towers, and big-bore shocks, creating a high-quality configuration.

The front comes standard with a milled lightweight bulkhead. By incorporating an abundance of aluminum options, rigidity has been dramatically increased.

The steering slide rack also utilizes the latest lightweight rail specification to enhance steering response.

Aluminum lower arm adapters and steering stoppers are also featured, reducing unsprung weight to improve performance.

By using a dedicated servo mount and servo horn, the servo is secured directly to the chassis. This method prevents interference with chassis torsion compared to connecting it to the upper deck, allowing for a neutral steering characteristic.

Due to clearance constraints, a low-profile steering servo is required (servo mount height is approx. 17mm).

The upper deck features bold cutouts to provide supple characteristics. It matches well with the high-traction chassis, enabling smooth cornering without front-end binding.

The high-traction chassis emphasizes suppleness. It offers excellent front-to-rear traction balance and the added benefit of being lightweight.

Although restricted by the upper deck, it is possible to select from 7 motor positions pivoting around the top shaft.

The battery is set back into the space beneath the motor, a layout designed with rear weight bias—crucial for RWD drift cars—in mind.

The front and rear shocks are fully tuned for smooth and stable operation. It is a perfect combination of fluororubber diaphragms, high-grade O-rings, and titanium-coated shock shafts. These are paired with drift-specific springs: the D-177FA Direct-Type All-Round for the front, and the D-179RA Side-Grip Type All-Round for the rear.

The Z-series gearbox offers excellent maintainability. The differential utilizes a lightweight gear diff with an aluminum axle.
