The BD11 competition touring car, which continues to make great strides around the world, is now available as a new US-spec chassis kit equipped with a new aluminum hard main chassis. The 2mm-thick, high-strength aluminum main chassis is a solid design with no weight-reducing cutouts. By improving stability through increased rigidity and promoting a lower center of gravity, it demonstrates its true value on the ultra-high-grip surfaces often found in American indoor racing. It optimizes steering response to provide smooth driving while preventing traction rolls caused by excessive grip. In addition, the US aluminum chassis spec features suspension tuning matched to the main chassis rigidity, including 2.1-2.4 progressive springs on the front and 1.3mm stabilizers made from a new material on both the front and rear. It is also equipped with a new rear belt tensioner to prevent belt skipping during rapid acceleration, ensuring you are fully prepared for racing on high-grip surfaces.
<Key Features>
The main chassis features a special solid aluminum design with no cutouts. The increased rigidity improves stability, while the added weight promotes a lower center of gravity, preventing traction rolls and reducing chassis roll.
Considering the balance of chassis rigidity, 2.1-2.4 progressive front springs are included as standard.
The stabilizers have been changed to 1.3mm, and the stabilizer bar material has been updated for better response, allowing for improved handling in tight turns.
A rear belt tensioner, used by many team drivers, comes as standard equipment. It suppresses belt flutter during high-load corner exits, enabling efficient acceleration.
