　A new, simplified chassis kit for the YD-2 TC—the fun-to-drive, agile rear-wheel-drive touring car—is now available, offered without a body, tires, wheels, or pinion gear. Maintaining the performance of the base model, this kit allows you to select your own components to match the circuit you drive on or the regulations of the races you enter, letting you enjoy touring car racing at a lower cost. It is also perfect for races using popular scale car bodies.

Key Features

　Equipped with adjustable-height oil shocks and on-road specific springs, it achieves a high level of cornering performance. The front suspension arms use an H-arm design to increase rigidity.

　The aluminum steering center link, designed exclusively for the YD-2 TC, is set to an Ackerman ratio optimized for on-road driving. Being made of aluminum, it also enhances steering response.

　The narrow-scrub steering hub carriers provide neutral steering characteristics. Additionally, aluminum clamp-type wheel hubs are used on both the front and rear to increase rotation accuracy and maximize tire grip.

　By swapping between two types of battery holders, the chassis can accommodate everything from standard straight-pack batteries to short-type Li-po batteries.

　The stand-up 4-gear transmission provides the perfect balance for a rear-wheel-drive configuration. The motor is mounted sideways to eliminate side-to-side balance shifts caused by counter-torque, and the structure is designed to increase rear traction when the throttle is applied.

　The rear suspension also features a double-wishbone design. With multiple mounting positions for the upper arms, it can support a wide range of settings.

　The sealed gearbox offers excellent dust protection, making it ideal for driving in parking lots and other areas with significant dust. A gear differential is used for the rear, allowing you to change driving characteristics by adjusting the viscosity of the oil inside.
