This is a shock piston for the MS1.0. By increasing the thickness to 2.9mm and enlarging the area where flow velocity increases, it is possible to achieve firmer damping. Since this also slightly increases damping force even with the same oil viscosity, it serves as an optimal tuning point for the warmer seasons when handling tends to become sluggish.
