The answer to maximizing rear traction on low-grip surfaces—a subject of great interest to many drift users in recent years—without changing the total vehicle weight is the "Rear Motor Conversion"!
Changing the mounting position of the motor, which is a heavy component, significantly affects the machine's balance, so Yokomo conducted testing comparable to new vehicle development. We have arrived at the optimal balance that allows for the most efficient traction application and high drivability.
Depending on the road surface, you can enjoy an overwhelming sense of acceleration and astonishing traction control performance.
Additionally, it comes standard with a motor mount that allows the motor position (height) to be adjusted in 6 stages. This enables setting changes tailored to the road surface and driving skills.
It can be installed on all YD-2 series models!
