This is an optional steering bellcrank that changes the steering characteristics of the BD10. The distance from the center of the steering post to the linkage pivot at the tip is 20mm, which is 1.5mm longer than the standard BD10 bellcrank (18.5mm).
The change in Ackermann ratio increases the steering angle of the outer tire, improving cornering performance in tight turns. Additionally, because the initial steering response to servo movement becomes more gradual, it allows for a slightly milder setup on high-grip tracks.
