This tensioner is installed on the underside of the front belt for the BD10 series to suppress belt flutter and increase drive efficiency. In modern touring cars that use a front spool, the underside of the belt tends to become loose, so the tensioner mount is installed by replacing the PCS block in front of the motor mount.
