The Yokomo "Drift Package" series is an electric radio-controlled car assembly kit that reproduces at 1/10 scale (over 40cm long) both the factory-spec cars seen at the pinnacle of drifting—the D1 Grand Prix (professional drift championship)—and more accessible street-spec drift cars.
Equipped with a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, a high-efficiency shaft-drive full-time 4WD system, front and rear spool joints, and other professional-grade competition features, the Yokomo "MR-4TC SD CM" chassis combined with the newly developed "Zero One R" (PAT.P) super drift tires makes it possible to achieve four-wheel drifting with overwhelming distance and angle that rivals professional D1 drivers. You can adjust the settings just like a real car, or refine its performance further with optional tuning parts, allowing you to enjoy twin drifting or group drifting with friends. The exterior faithfully reproduces the aggressive aero parts, GT wings, aero mirrors, and original factory painting designs. Combining serious drift performance with the appeal of a display model, the Yokomo "Drift Package" is a meticulously crafted radio-controlled car that packs the allure of drifting into a fully-equipped 1/10 scale package.

CHASSIS ZOOM UP
Features a shaft-drive full-time 4WD system that drives the front and rear axles via a shaft, providing a highly responsive feel that directly transmits motor power. Comes standard with 17 ball bearings supporting the drivetrain. These improve throttle response and top-speed acceleration, while increasing drive efficiency to extend run times. The front and rear gearboxes are fully sealed. This prevents dust and small pebbles from entering, ensuring the drivetrain is protected even when running in dusty parking lots. Equipped with a large urethane front bumper to protect the chassis from damage in the event of a crash. Precision dampers and springs mounted on the front and rear suspension ensure exceptionally high traction. High-precision aluminum oil dampers are also available as optional upgrades. The front and rear suspension use the same double-wishbone style as real cars, enhancing ride quality with supple movement. The extraordinary low-center-of-gravity design, inherited from racing bloodlines, provides stability at high speeds. The battery tray is compatible with both the straight-pack batteries included in the running sets and high-power rectangular case lithium-polymer batteries. A spur gear cover is included as standard to protect the gears from small stones and dust kicked up by the tires, allowing for worry-free driving in parking lots and other areas. The upper arms on the front and rear suspension are adjustable turnbuckle types, allowing for infinitely variable camber settings by changing their length. Solid axles are used for the differentials inside the front and rear gearboxes. In its initial state, it is set with front and rear solid axles, which is the easiest combination for handling, while optional ball differentials and front one-way units are also available. You can change the driving characteristics in various ways depending on your chosen combination. The motor mount is made of die-cast aluminum. It features a heat-sink fin shape to efficiently dissipate heat from the motor, and the eccentric motor cam allows for fine adjustments to the gear mesh.*Photos are assembly examples.
