BD9 Competition Touring Car Price Revision!

The BD9 competition touring car has gained significant market share by substantially enhancing driving performance and durability. We have implemented a price revision to make this performance more accessible, allowing even more users to enjoy the driving experience of this touring car.

With the arrival of the BD10 high-end racing model, the BD9 becomes the first of a new two-tier pricing lineup. While the product remains identical to its previous configuration, we have re-evaluated manufacturing costs and profit margins to prioritize affordability for our users. Of course, we will continue to sell individual parts, ensuring comprehensive after-sales support for repairs and upgrades with optional parts.

SPEC

By narrowing the width of the bulkhead, we have enabled a supple driving feel that further utilizes chassis flex. It is easy to adapt to various track conditions and achieves high traction. In addition, both aluminum and steel screws are included for securing the upper and lower bulkheads to the upper deck, allowing you to change the flex by selecting the appropriate material for the situation.

To accommodate higher power and flex chassis, the center pulley is now dual-supported and linked left-to-right. A design that allows for symmetrical fixation to the chassis, along with the motor mount, has been adopted to increase drive efficiency. The posts that serve as both the center bulkhead and battery stopper can be secured to the upper deck by adding spacers, allowing for adjustment of the front-to-rear flex balance.

A newly adopted carbon graphite roll plate at the rear accurately controls chassis roll and manages chassis behavior during cornering.

Battery fixation now uses a battery holder system that allows for a degree of "floating," replacing the glass tape method which affects chassis twist. This also prevents the battery from falling out and saves time during changes.

Parts are crafted with carefully selected materials to achieve high break resistance, improving survival performance in intense races. This also leads to reduced running costs, allowing users of all levels to enjoy RC racing more. In particular, the front and rear suspension arms, which are prone to damage, have had their rigidity improved while maintaining driving performance, significantly enhancing crash resistance.

The front and rear shock absorbers feature high-big-bore ultra-short shocks exclusively designed for the BD9 in collaboration with AXON. The springs are also exclusively designed for the BD9 to match the chassis balance, with progressive types in the front and linear types in the rear. They accurately absorb minor surface bumps and machine movements, allowing the driver to feel traction at all times and keeping the machine in a controllable state.

Aluminum steering bell cranks and center links are used, which are essential for improved steering response.

High-precision, high-efficiency precision bearings are used for the main bearings in the drive system.
