The YZ-870C comes standard with the 1.9-inch tires and wheels used in the 80s, but new wheels are being released to allow the use of current 2.2-inch tires.
While retaining the YZ-870C's characteristic wheel hubs, the outer diameter of the wheels has been increased to accommodate the 2.2-inch tires that are widely available today. This greatly expands your tire options for both dirt and carpet surfaces, allowing you to enjoy driving with increased grip.
Please note that since the outer diameter of the tires will often increase, you should adjust the gear ratio accordingly, such as by using a smaller pinion gear. Also, the wheels do not have air holes, so please drill them as needed using a drill or tapered reamer depending on the conditions.
